Linarite w/ Brochanite is a rare highly sought after copper sulphate
mineral which is known for its electric blue crystals. This specimen is
from the famous copper mining district of Hansonburg in Socorro
County New Mexico. I'm guessing from the Blanchard Mine but it
could also be the Tex Mex mine. Both have some of the best Linarite in the world.
There a few green Brochanite crystals in a few places it you look
closely. It also has a flat spot on one side and will stand on it's
own which is always a bonus!
